eBay is supporting the Adrienne Shelly Foundation which supports the artistic achievements of female actors, writers and directors through a series of scholarships, grants, and industry mentoring by auctioning off lunches, set visits, set extras, film festivals, meet & greets, etc with famous actors and actresses.  100% of the proceeds go toward the charity!  Some key names that are listed for auction are Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester from Glee),  Jon Hamm (Don Drapper from Mad Men), Michelle Williams, and Keri Russell.  Activities seem to start ~$300 and go up from there.

Buy Pantene, Give Clean Water

Pantene has a program called Healthy Hair for Healthy Water which donates $0.10 per bottle to the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Fund when you purchase Pantene from their website (http://www.pgestore.com/).  By the looks of things, this program is on any and all Pantene products on the eStore site. 

According to the Pantene site, the cost of providing one week of clean drinking water (10 liters) to a child in the developing world who needs it most.  The clean drinking water is obtained through the use of PUR packets that remove pathogenic microorganisms and suspended matter.  Once the PUR packet is dissolved, the water is then filtered and allowed to sit for 20 minutes to complete the process.
